Professor Vinoth Kumar of the Department of Medicinal and Applied Chemistry, College of Life Sciences, Kaohsiung Medical University, has been awarded the “Pride of the Nation Invention Award” at the 21st International Inventor Prize (IIP-2025) – Innovation and Invention Ceremony, held on November 20, 2025, in Taipei, Taiwan. This honor recognizes his exceptional international contributions to academic research and industrial innovation.

  The award is jointly presented by the Taiwan International Invention Award Winner’s Association (台灣國際發明得獎協會), the Chinese Innovation and Invention Society (CIIS, 中華創新發明學會), and the International Alliance of Innovation and Invention Associations (IAIA, 國際創新發明聯盟總會). It aims to acknowledge outstanding scholars and innovators who have demonstrated remarkable achievements in both academic research and technological development.

 

  Professor Kumar’s scientific accomplishments and pioneering innovations have received high acclaim from the international judging committee. This recognition further underscores his leadership in advancing scientific research and technological applications, once again bringing distinguished honor to Kaohsiung Medical University on the global academic stage.
