KMU Signs MoU with Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), India to Boost Academic and Research Collaboration

Kaohsiung, Taiwan — May 21st, 2025

Kaohsiung Medical University (KMU) is pleased to announce the successful signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chennai Institute of Technology (CIT), India, marking a significant step toward strengthening international cooperation in academics and research.

The MoU was signed during a formal ceremony attended by senior representatives from both institutions. This strategic partnership aims to foster joint research initiatives, faculty and student exchange programs, academic workshops, and collaborative platforms in key disciplines such as chemistry, biotechnology, biomedical engineering, medical technology, and interdisciplinary studies.

“This collaboration will create global opportunities for our students and faculty, and accelerate innovation in high-impact research,” added BalaKrishnan, Director-Strategic Development and international relations of CIT.
